Lawyer for Authority Operations within Support and Care

Within the Support and Care administration, Authority Operations includes approximately 270 employees.

We are responsible for investigation and follow-up of services for children, adolescents, and adults in accordance with current legislation. We are now looking for a lawyer!

Your Responsibilities

You will be the expert in the legal field and provide support to managers and employees in interpreting and applying current regulations. The major overarching legal areas you will work with include social law legislation, the Parental Code, the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and public access and confidentiality.

You will contribute your legal expertise in qualified investigative work, quality assurance, and advisory services. In this role, you will assist in preparing opinions and appeals to courts and supervisory authorities and represent the board in court hearings when necessary. The assignment includes mentoring social workers in principled individual cases. You will also represent the individual and family committee in court in these matters when needed.

It is important that you actively follow legal developments and take the initiatives needed to keep the organization updated on the laws and regulations that apply, for example in practical procedural law.

About You

We are looking for someone with a law degree and experience in court processes. We prefer that you have high competence in social law legislation. The assignment requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

The work requires you to be skilled at building relationships, able to work on multiple tasks and processes simultaneously, and have good organizational skills. Your communication skills are central. You have strong analytical abilities and enjoy working with complex issues. For this position, you need to be confident in your professional role, unpretentious, and able to collaborate easily. As a person, we see that you enjoy leading and motivating others and empowering them with the necessary authority. You think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues, with innovative thinking that can be adapted and translated into practical action.
